Motor Vehicle Injuries (MVA)
If you have been involved in a motor vehicle accident we can electronically bill your auto insurance directly. For your insurance claim to be approved, your Auto insurance will require an accident benefit package be filled out and sent to them for consideration (these forms are mailed out to you once the accident has been reported). It is often advisable that you seek medical help at your earliest convenience as the injuries are often treated much more quickly when they are in an acute stage (early stage). Your insurance will also require an Initial Treatment plan and assessment to be sent to them (We will assess you on your initial visit and develop and forward a treatment plan electronically to your auto insurance).
Your auto insurance will usually authorize treatments and respond to us directly. Please note that for an auto insurance claim to be processed we will require your extended health insurance (if you have extended health) be billed first for services (this is the law in Ontario). Your extended health insurance may require a doctor’s referral for your extended health. As well all payments once approved will be directly paid to our facility.
